This page has an interesting collection of photographs of Albinos, many of whom worked for Phineas Barnum in his travelling sideshow. It states on the page:The phenomen of trading in images of unusual people seemed much more common in America than elsewhere in the world...Interesting, though for some reason, not surprising. We Americans do love us a good freak show, do we not?
